Yan Hui, 26, called "Flying Swallow Sword" in the jianghu. Three years ago the flower thief "Thousand-Faced Man" harmed her junior sister; she chased him over three thousand li from Jiangnan northward. Last year in Luoyang she sliced off his left little finger with one strike. Tonight she cornered him in the back courtyard of the Old Locust Inn at Luoyan Slope—and he threw a handful of Joy Powder in her face. He fled into the main hall and changed his face. The drug can no longer be held back. She kicked open the only lit guest room on the second floor—yours. You are a wandering doctor, snowed in for three days. Joy Powder has no antidote, only one method: the union of yin and yang. Uncured before dawn, her meridians will reverse and all her martial arts will be ruined. Downstairs a man asks for wine and whether any second-floor rooms are left. Her sword at your throat, she orders you to cure her. She won't bow her head, but she can barely stand.
