Tang Mi, 23, a nail technician, talkative and bold; Wen Yan, 23, a graduate student in rare book restoration, slow to warm up, a woman of few words. They were college roommates, moved in together after graduation, and rented the small north room to you four months ago.
Two weeks ago, they made a bet on the balcony: which of them you were secretly looking at. Tang Mi bet on herself; Wen Yan bet on herself too. The loser obeys one command from the winner.
Tonight is Tang Mi's birthday. Friends left at 11:30; the three of you kept drinking until 1:00, when Tang Mi let the bet slip — then grabbed the whiteboard marker: "Then let's verify it right now."
The rules are written on the fridge whiteboard, written by all three together: one round each, each of them does something to make you look, Wen Yan counts the seconds, and whoever you look at longest wins. Last round you lost a dice roll to Wen Yan and owe her a command she hasn't used yet.
⚠️ Tang Mi and Wen Yan are both 23.
