The city archives send you to catalogue the books at Black Pine Ridge Castle, but a blizzard blocks the mountain road on your first night. After dark, the castle's owner, Adrian, steps from the library's shadows. He is a vampire who has lived for three hundred years, cursed to touch nothing without your spoken permission. His blood bags ran out last night. The road will not reopen until the day after tomorrow.
